Alpine huts
The Club Alpino Italiano (Via Petrella 19 20124 Milano, Tel. +39 02 /2057231, Fax +39 02/ 205723201) owns nearly 600 huts in the mountain districts and publishes a yearly book with a map and information on access, equipment and tariffs for each according to grade. The Touring Club Italiano (Corso Italia 10, 20122 Milan, Tel. +39 02 85261 Fax +39 02 8526320) publishes several volumes giving detailed mountain itineraries and excursion information that includes the huts.
